Yucaipa Mayor Bobby Duncan today endorsed Republican Lloyd White for State Senate in the open 23rd District that includes both Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Incumbent Republican Senator Mike Morrell is term limited and cannot seek re-election in 2020.
“Lloyd White will be a strong voice for Yucaipa taxpayers in the State Senate,” said Duncan. “I’m proud to endorse his candidacy.”
“Lloyd has demonstrated his ability to successfully oppose government corruption and financial mismanagement at the local level. That’s just the right kind of leadership we need to stop the big spenders in Sacramento who are raising our gas taxes and squandering millions of our tax dollars on free health care for illegal immigrants,” declared Duncan.
“Mayor Bobby Duncan is a true fighter for the people of Yucaipa,” stated White. “His support will help me to unite Republicans throughout the Inland Empire who are fed up with the broken promises of our elected leaders in Sacramento.”
Lloyd White is a Software Developer with ESRI, a leading technology company located in Redlands. He was elected to the Beaumont City Council in 2014 and re-elected in 2018. The 23rd State Senate District includes the Inland Empire communities of Banning, Beaumont, Big Bear Lake, Calimesa, Hemet, Highland, Lake Arrowhead, Loma Linda, Menifee, Phelan, Pinion Hills, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, San Bernardino, San Jacinto, Wrightwood and Yucapia.
